In recent years, Guatemala City has become severely plagued with advertising of all kinds. By adding a simple red circle to them, anyone can effectively turn its meaning upside-down. How i wish to see the same thing happening here in Beirut.
There is a new trend to mess up with ads, in subways in general, and on the streets. We already covered the Pop-Down project in an earlier post, where people are sticking a “close window” sticker on public “space pollution” areas.
Lately, something really awesome is happening in Berlin. Someone has been photoshopping the ads with some photoshop interface stickers. Looks totally cool! I just can’t wait to see this happening in other cities around the glob. (via i.gizmodo.com)
